Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a highly reliable anhydrous electrolyte secondary cell that uses a positive electrode plate having a portion where a positive electrode core is exposed, a protective layer being formed in a region adjacent to a positive electrode active material layer in the portion where the positive electrode core is exposed, wherein the widths of the positive electrode active material layer and the protective layer are stable. [Solution] A positive electrode plate (1) having a positive electrode active material layer (2) formed on a positive electrode core, and a positive-electrode-core exposed portion (4) on which the positive electrode active material layer (2) is not formed, characterized in that a protective layer (3) is formed in a region of the positive-electrode-core exposed portion (4) that is adjacent to the positive electrode active material layer (2), the positive electrode active material layer (2) and the protective layer (3) contain polyvinylidene fluoride, and the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of the polyvinylidene fluoride contained in the protective layer (3) is greater than the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of the polyvinylidene fluoride contained in the positive electrode active material layer (2).
