Abstract:
This positive ion exchange membrane comprises a layer (I) containing a repeating unit (A) represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit (S) having a sulfonic acid type ion exchange group, the mass ratio of the repeating unit (A) being 53% to 70% by mass relative to the total mass ratio 100% by mass of the repeating unit (A) and the repeating unit (S), and a layer (II) having a fluorine-containing polymer containing a carboxylic acid type ion exchange group and being disposed over the layer (I), the water content of the layer (I) being 26% to 35%.
