Abstract:
Provided are a post-heat treatment device and a post-heat treatment method, whereby welded sections can be automatically detected and heat treatment performed thereon, in a post-heat treatment device that performs post-heat treatment on welded sections of rails. The present invention comprises: a displacement detection means 35 that detects displacement of a rail surface at each prescribed pitch along the longitudinal direction of the rail R; a control means 2 that determines the start point of a welded section if the displacement detected at each prescribed pitch by the displacement detection means exceeds a prescribed threshold value a prescribed number of times consecutively and determines the end point of the welded section if the displacement falls below the prescribed threshold value a prescribed number of times consecutively; and heating means 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d that perform heat treatment on the basis of the position of the welded sections detected by the control means.
