| 2. | A post holder designed to be driven into the ground without a preceding digging or without first making a hole in the ground according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that said tube (1) has a length (L) of 400800 mm. |
| 3. | A post holder according to claim 2, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that said tube (1) has a length (L) of 600 mm. |
| 4. | A post holder according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that said tube (1) has a diameter (D) of 3050 mm. |
| 5. | A post holder according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that said tube (1) has a diameter (D) of 3842 mm. |
| 6. | A post holder according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the parallel legs (4,5) of the Ushaped holder part (2) has a height (H) of 180280 mm a bottom web 3 with a width B of at least 70 mm and a length of at least 70 mm as well as two substantially parallel upwardlydirected sides 5,6, each one provided with three holes 6,7,8 for screws, nails and the like, designed to hold in place a post, inserted into Ushaped part 2, as well as a bottom web 3 between said sides 4,5, which bottom web also has holes 9,10, made for iron rods 11, 12 or the like, which are inserted through holes 9,10 in order to secure and fasten the post base in the ground, if this is necessary. Also, the bottom web has a central hole 13 in order to guarantee, that, when the post is galvanized, the entire post holder is galvanized, and that, when the post holder is driven down into the ground, the air in the tube can flow upwards and out of the tube. When the post holder is driven down into the ground, the ground material, which is pushed aside, will rise upwards in the tube and consequently it will be easy to drive the post holder into the ground. When the post holder has been driven into the ground, it is decided, whether rods 11,12 have to be driven into holes 9,10 in bottom web 3 of the Ushaped holder part and then into the ground in order to make the post holder stand firmly. Subsequently the post is positioned in the post holder and is adjusted into its vertical direction and then hexagon head screws are positioned in the holes in the upwardly directed sides. The screws are now screwed into the post and in this way the post is fastened in the post holder. Since the holder has free sides, the post can be adjusted in its vertical direction, in case the post holder, when it is being driven into the ground, ends up in a slightly oblique position, which means, that much time can be saved, because then it is not necessary to dig up post holders and drive them into the ground again, if they will become oblique during the insertion into the ground. The present invention can of course be modified within the scope of protection for the invention defined by the enclosed claims. |

| 12. | A method of fastening a post in the ground by means of a post holder according to claim 1, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that the post holder is driven into the ground and adjusted by twisting it, said rods or the like subsequently being positioned in said holes in the holder part and driven into the ground. |
| 13. | A method according to claim 12, c h a r a c t e r i z e d in that a post is positioned in the Ushaped holder part, is adjusted into a vertical direction and is fastened to the post holder, by means of nails or the like. |
BACKGROUND ART Within the above-mentioned technical field many different solutions of fastening wood parts and the like in the ground have been proposed.
Such a fastening device introduced on the market, which is used most frequently, comprises a first part, which is to be inserted into the ground, and a second part, designed to be positioned above the ground and to fasten the post in the device.
Said first part comprises two angle irons, welded to each other along their backs and designed with downwardly directed points, and said second part comprises a casing, designed to receive the post, made of wood.
It has been difficult, subsequent to the insertion, to adjust this fastening device, in case it has ended up in an oblique position in the ground. In case the device is positioned at an angle, the post in the casing will extend obliquely upwards, which is undesirable, since the posts are supposed to extend in a vertical direction in order to obtain a satisfactory result, when e. g. a fence is to be erected, see e. g. US Patent no. 4 644 713.
US Patents no. 4 156 332 and 4 646 489 for instance relate to post holders having bar-like, relatively short second parts, which are designed to be driven into the ground without digging. These bar-like parts have an end with an angular or solid shape and are provided with a cone-shaped portion, which to a certain extent facilitates the insertion into the ground. Subsequent adjustments are almost impossible to carry out without great and time- consuming efforts.
Also, it is difficult to make these post holders stable and consequently, they may easily fail because of pressure or bad weather.
BRIEF DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks with post holders and to develop a very stable host holder at a low cost, which can be driven into the ground without digging, the post, which is to be fastened to the holder, being easily adjustable and obtaining a vertical direction despite a twist and a somewhat oblique insertion into the ground.
According to the inventive idea the above-mentioned problems are solved by designing said first part as a round, hollow and long bar, a tube, which at its free end is obliquely cut off in order to obtain a pointed end portion, which facilitates an insertion, ground material, during the insertion into the ground, rising upwards through the tube, and by providing the bottom web of the U-shaped holder part, which connects the parallel legs, with holes for rods, which subsequent to the insertion are driven into the ground in order to obtain increased stability.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS Fig. 1 shows the post holder according to the present invention in a lateral view.
Fig. 2 shows the post holder from the front at an angle, being provided with additional iron rods, positioned in the U-shaped bottom web of the holder.
DESCRIPTION OF A PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In the drawings it is shown, how the parts of the post holder according to the invention, i. e. tubular long part 1 and U-shaped holder part 2, are attached to each other. Tubular part 1 and holder part 2 are welded together. Tubular part 1 has a length of preferably 600 mm and a diameter of 38-42 mm. The Up-shaped part has
