Abstract:
A post for supporting a pole automatically and securely restored to an original state when an external force is removed therefrom and capable of sufficiently developing its shock absorbing effect and a traffic sign. The post (1) comprises a base (4) fixed to a road and a cylindrical post body (2) formed of a flexible elastic material, vertically installed on the base (4), and allowing the pole (7) to be inserted therein from the upper side and fixed at its upper side. To restore the post body (2) from a bent state to an erected state around its lower part, a cylindrical core (3) formed of a flexible elastic material and a reinforcement spring (5) and installed on the lower inner side of the post body (2) so that one of the core and the reinforcement spring is positioned on the inside and the other is positioned on the outside.
