This invention is about statement column of postal code of postal matter which has postal code like postal card,postal envelope, postal package,etc (herein after 'postal matter')

As for previous postal statement column of 'postal matter', it was designed for sender to write postal code of receiver in the sqare column which is simply printed on the envelope.

As a result of it automatic reading service of 'postal mat-

-ter' has been in much difficulty in mechanical reading due to a variety of sender's writing style in sender's writing postal code of receiver.

Disclosure of Invention.

This invention is made to solve above defect and its stru¬ cture, operation, and effect are detaild by attached draw- -ing. There is seven segment type character(20) by dotted line in common postal code statement colu n(lθ) and there is printed example of writing postal code(30) at one side of the outside of common postal code statement colu n(lθ). the effect of this invention of above structure is as fo- -llows, If sender writes postal code of receiver according to the example of writing postal code(30), rapid and exact mecha- -nical reading service of 'postal matter' becomes possible

in post office due to the unification of writing style of po- -stal code.

As aboves this invention is very effective in automatic trea- -t ent of 'postal matter' by mechanical reading the postal c- 5 -ode.

Furthermore to adjust the width of seven segment type chara- -cter(20) and to make seven segment type character(20) as no- -rmal digital type can be also tried in the category of this invention.
