Abstract:

A posture-improving support garment is provided with a main section (10) that covers at least the upper body, and a band-shaped constriction section (20) that produces more constricting force than the main section (10) does. The constriction section (20) is characterized by extending to both sides and downwards from at least one of the thoracic vertebrae between the seventh and the ninth, inclusive; passing through the left and right subcostal areas; and connecting in the center of the lower abdomen. The constriction section is further characterized in that the centerline thereof is located between the navel and the top edge of the pubic bone at the center of the lower abdomen.
