The pot assembly comprises an inner pot (1) and a food steamer (2), and the inner pot (1) defines a cooking cavity (18); the food steamer (2) is placed in the cooking cavity (18), communication holes (211, 221) in communication with the cooking cavity (18) are provided on the food steamer (2), and the food steamer (2) comprises a bottom wall (21); a drained rice water level line (28) is provided on the inner pot (1) and/or the food steamer (2), and the drained rice water level line (28) is higher than the bottom wall (21) of the food steamer (2). According to the pot assembly, the drained rice water level line (28) higher than the bottom wall (21) of the food steamer (2) is provided, and the quantity of liquid and the quantity of an ingredient to be cooked are determined according to liquid information indicated by the drained rice water level line (28) and information of the ingredient to be cooked, so that the taste of the cooked drained rice can be better satisfied.
