Abstract:
Provided is a pouch container, the peripheral edge portion of which has its heat seal portion unexposed at its hard and sharp edge portion to the outside but can have its soft edge portion exposed to the outside thereby to give a comfortable using feel to an operator. In case the pouch container is equipped with a nozzle, moreover, the side seal portion of the peripheral edge portion of the nozzle does not obstruct the nozzle when the nozzle is inserted into the mouth portion of the empty container. The pouch container (1) is sealed at seal portions (5, 6) of the peripheral edge portion of pouch members of a flexible film material, thereby to form a cavity (10) for filling contents, between the pouch members. The pouch members of the cavity close to the seal portions are folded at folds (23, 24) along at least portions of the seal portions, thereby to form the folded portions.
