Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for sealing a side part of a pouch-type battery comprising an electrode collector and a pouch-type case, the method comprising: a step of bending a lower case and an upper case connected to the lower case while the electrode collector is embedded, thereby positioning the upper case to face the lower case; a first sealing step of sealing, while the lower case faces the upper case, a lower end of the side part adjacent to the outer peripheral part from which an electrode terminal protrudes, the lower end of the side part being adjacent to a bent part; and a second sealing step of sealing the entirety of the side part.
