Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a pouch-type secondary battery. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a pouch-type secondary battery comprising: a casing for receiving an electrode assembly having a drawn-out electrode tab; a sealing part formed by means of the casing being bonded along the external edges of the electrode assembly; and a folding part having folded thereat the sealing part on the surface where the electrode tab drawn-out towards the outside of the casing is not formed, wherein the length of the folded folding part satisfies the following relational expression with the thickness of the electrode assembly. H≤T/2 (Based on the cross-section in the direction vertical to the direction in which the electrode tab of the electrode assembly is drawn-out, H is the length of the folded folding part, and T is the thickness of the electrode assembly.)
