[Problem] To provide a pouring control method, for a ladle-tilting automatic pouring device, that can reduce identification operations for parameters that require many operation hours and that can pour with a high degree of precision by sequentially updating pouring model parameters according to the pouring situation. [Solution] This pouring control method controls pouring on the basis of a mathematical model for the pouring process of a ladle-tilting automatic pouring device, which pours into a mold by tilting a ladle, from the input of control parameters to the pouring with the ladle, and comprises: a step of identifying, by way of an optimization technique, a flow coefficient, liquid density, and a pour start angle that is the tilt angle of the ladle when pouring from the ladle starts, which are control parameters in the mathematical model, on the basis of the weight of a liquid that is measured at the time of pouring and that flows from the ladle and a command signal that controls the ladle tilt angle and ladle tilting; and a step of updating the identified control parameters.
