Abstract:
Powder bed-based, additive production method, for example laser melting, and installation for carrying out said method. It is provided that layers (20) as a whole are applied onto the powder bed (16), in which the component (19) is to be produced, by means of a support component (21). The layer (20) can be removed from a supply powder bed (22) that has the same dimensions as the powder bed (16). In addition, the layer (20) can be compressed by means of a compressor (25). The advantage of the application of layers (20), according to the invention, is that these layers are of a higher quality. They are more compressed and flat as a result of their contact to the carrier component (21). The quality of the component that is to be produced (19) can thus also be improved.
