Abstract:

Provided is a powder filling device in which the screw part of an auger screw is prevented from brought into contact with the inner surface of a metering part provided at the lower end of a funnel, of which the assembling operation can be easily performed, the size can be reduced and which can be manufactured at low cost. The device comprises a funnel (2) in which a powder is received, a cylindrical metering part (3) provided at the lower end of the funnel (2), an auger screw (4) disposed vertically, and a support device (5) for rotatably supporting the auger screw (4). The screw part (18) at the lower end of the auger screw (4) is disposed in the metering part (3). The funnel (2) is drooped from and supported by the support device (5). The center axis (3a) of the metering part (3) is generally aligned with the rotating axis (4a) of the auger screw (4).
