Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a distributor (84) that causes a supplied powder fuel to branch into a plurality of branch pipes (82); a plurality of burners (126a) that are connected to the downstream ends (82a) of the plurality of branch pipes (82), respectively, and that supply char into a gasification furnace for gasifying the powder fuel; flow nozzles (85) that are provided to the plurality of respective branch pipes (82) and that apply pressure loss to the char flow inside the branch pipes (82); differential pressure gauges (86) that measure the pressure differential produced by the flow nozzles (85); and a control unit that determines a reduction in the flow speed of the char flow on the basis of the pressure differential obtained by the differential pressure gauges (86).
