Abstract:

The powder for a magnetic core contains a granular powder of an Fe-Cu-Si-B-Cr-Sn-C-based crystalline magnetic material and an Fe-Si-B-based and/or Fe-P-C-based amorphous magnetic material, wherein in an X-ray diffraction spectrum measured using Cu-Kα characteristic X-rays, the peak intensity ratio (IP1/IP2) between peak intensity IP1 of a (110) diffraction peak P1 of an FeSi crystal having a bcc structure in the vicinity of a diffraction angle 2θ of 45˚ and peak intensity IP2 of a main halo diffraction peak P2 of an amorphous phase is in excess of 1.5 but not exceeding 6.5.
