Abstract:

A powder magnetic core prepared by the compression molding of a magnetic powder, wherein the magnetic powder is made of an alloy having a composition: Si: 1 to 10 wt %, O: 0.1 to 1.0 and balance: Fe, and the magnetic core comprises the above magnetic powder having a particle diameter of 150 μm or less and, caused to be present between particles constituting the powder, an insulator containing SiO₂ and MgO as main components.
