Abstract:
This invention relates to an iron-base powder for a power magnetic core. In the iron-base powder for a powder magnetic core, when a crystal grain size distribution including at least the maximum crystal grain diameter is determined by observing at least 50 ion-base powder cross sections to measure the crystal grain diameter for each ion-base powder, not less than 70% of the measured crystal grains are accounted for by crystal grains having a crystal grain diameter of not less than 50 μm. According to the iron-base powder, the magnetic coercive force of the powder magnetic core is reduced, and the hysteresis loss can be reduced.
