Abstract:
This powder magnetic core includes: soft magnetic particles; and an insulating layer formed on the surface of each of the soft magnetic particles. The soft magnetic particles contain Fe and an element that is more easily oxidized than Fe. The 50% particle diameter (D50) of the soft magnetic particles is 10-40 μm, when measured volumetrically; the ratio between the 10% particle diameter (D10) and (D50), D10/D50, is 0.3-0.7; the ratio between the 90% particle diameter (D90) and (D50), D90/D50, is 1.5-2.5; and the density of the soft magnetic particles is at least 5.8 g/cm3.
