Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide: a powder material which is not susceptible to aggregation of particles during preliminary heating, and which enables sufficient sintering of coated particles with less laser energy amount; and a three-dimensional modeling method. In order to solve the problem, a powder material which is used in a method for producing a three-dimensional model by laminating a plurality of three-dimensional model layers, in each of which coated particles are melted and bonded with each other, by repeating formation of a thin layer of a powder material that contains coated particles, preliminary heating of the thin layer and selective laser light irradiation on the thin layer is configured such that each of the coated particles contains a core resin and a shell resin that covers the core resin. In this connection, the absolute value of the difference between the SP value of the core resin and the SP value of the shell resin is set to 2.5 (J/cm3)1/2 to 7.0 (J/cm3)1/2, while setting the temperature TS(65) at which the storage elastic modulus G' of the shell resin is 106.5 Pa higher than the temperature TC(65) at which the storage elastic modulus G' of the core resin is 106.5 Pa.
