Abstract:

Provided is a method for measuring the AC impedance of a powder sample that makes it possible to accurately measure internal particle resistance, contact resistance, and interfacial resistance. A method for measuring the AC impedance of a powder sample having: a step for accommodating a prescribed amount of a powder to be measured inside a measurement container having a space enclosed by side-wall parts formed from an insulator, a bottom part formed from an insulator and having one metal electrode formed thereon, and a lid part formed from an insulator and having the other metal electrode formed thereon, the lid part or the bottom part being connected to a pressing apparatus; a step for making the density of the powder to be measured a prescribed value by using the pressing apparatus connected to the lid part or bottom part to move the lid part by a prescribed amount in the bottom part direction or move the bottom part by a prescribed amount in the lid part direction and applying a prescribed pressing force to the powder to be measured; a step for applying an alternating current or alternating voltage to the powder to be measured by outputting a constant-voltage alternating current or constant-current alternating voltage from the AC power supply of an impedance analyzer to the one electrode and other electrode; and a step for carrying out impedance analysis on the current or voltage generated through the application of an alternating current or alternating voltage to the powder to be measured.
