Abstract:

Provided are a powder slush molding machine that utilizes a transfer time of a mold to preheat the mold, and that can be downsized, and a powder slush molding method using the powder slush molding machine. The powder slush molding machine is provided with: a mold heating section that heats a mold so as to make the mold temperature equal to or higher than a prescribed temperature; a powder slush section that powders and sprays molding resin to form a sheet-shaped object having a prescribed thickness on an inner surface of the heated mold; a mold cooling section that cools the mold so as to make the mold temperature equal to or lower than a prescribed temperature; a mold processing section that removes the cooled sheet-shaped object from the mold; and a conveying device that moves the mold between the respective sections. The powder slush molding method uses the powder slush molding machine. A preheating device that preheats the mold is provided in a part of the conveyance device.
