Abstract:
The invention is directed to a powder thermoplastic polyurethane urea resin composition
for thermoforming obtained through a step of reacting an isocyanate group-terminated
prepolymer, water and/or amine in a dispersion medium. In a chart obtained by
measuring the resin composition by GPC, (I) the peak area of an ultrahigh molecular
weight component having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of at least 500,000
is 22% or less of the total peak area, and (II) the number average molecular weight
of a component relating to the main peak with the largest peak area is 18,000 to
50,000. This resin composition is excellent in melt moldability and can provide
a molded article excellent in folding and buckling resistance, abrasion resistance,
mechanical characteristics, blooming resistance and the like.
