Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a powdered composition that contains a barium compound, is able to prevent the solidification of the barium compound in the high-temperature, high-humidity environment of the monsoon season to the summer season in Japan by means of an industrially advantageous method, and when barium nitrate is used as the barium compound, is able to render the barium nitrate harmless. The powdered composition containing a barium compound is characterized by resulting from including porous silica and non-porous silica in a barium compound, and the barium compound is preferably barium nitrate.
