Abstract:
Provided is a powdered thickener having excellent handleability, and excellent solubility in liquid oil. A powdered thickener according to the present invention contains: a compound represented by formula (1) (where, R's are the same or different, and each represents a branched saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 5-22 carbon atoms, or alinear unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 5-22 carbon atoms); and an oil agent having a melting point of 30˚C or more. The content of the oil agent having a melting point of 30˚C or more is, for example, 10-100 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the compound represented by formula (1).
