Abstract:

The present invention detects output power with a compact structure and with low loss. A power amplification circuit (1) comprises: an amplifier; a voltage detection circuit (5); a current detection circuit (6); and an arithmetic circuit. The amplifier amplifies power. The voltage detection circuit (5) detects a voltage of an output terminal of the amplifier. The current detection circuit (6) detects a current of the output terminal of the amplifier. The arithmetic circuit calculates detection results of the voltage detection circuit (5) and the current detection circuit (6) so as to find an output power that is output from the amplifier.
