Abstract:
A power amplification circuit (1) is provided with: a distortion compensation circuit (11) for implementing digital signal processing on a digital input signal (S); a frequency conversion unit (51) for converting an analog transmission signal (Xa) to a high-frequency transmission signal (Xr); and a power amplifier (52) for amplifying the power of the high-frequency transmission signal (Xr). The distortion compensation circuit (11) includes: a digital subtractor (21) that subtracts a distortion compensation signal from the digital input signal (S) and generates a digital transmission signal (X); an estimation amplifier (22) that amplifies the digital transmission signal (X); and an attenuator (23) that attenuates an output (Z) of the estimation amplifier and generates an attenuation signal, and gives that attenuation signal to the digital subtractor (21) as the distortion compensation signal.
