Abstract:
Provided is a power amplification device wherein an element related to power amplification of RF signals can be removed from an element related to combination of the RF signals. An amplification unit 1 comprises a plurality of sets of amplification circuits 2, each set including a predetermined number of amplification circuits 2 that amplify the powers of RF signals. A combination unit 5 comprises first combiners 7 and a second combiner 8. The first combiners 7 are associated with the sets of amplification circuits 2, and combine and output the RF signals outputted by the amplification circuits 2 belonging to the associated sets. The second combiner 8 combines and outputs the RF signals outputted by the first combiners 7. Each of the first combiners 7 is a combiner that can be used for the RF signals of a particular frequency band. The amplification unit 1 can be attached to and removed from the combination unit 5.
