Abstract:
A power amplifier for a servo motor, said amplifier provided with: a DC power supply (E0); a bridge circuit having a plurality of switching elements, the bridge circuit being connected to a U-phase coil (Lu), a V-phase coil (Lv), and a W-phase coil (Lw), and the bridge circuit converting the voltage of the DC power supply into U-phase AC (Iu), V-phase AC (Iv), and W-phase AC (Iw); a current detector (4, 6) for detecting the U-phase AC, the V-phase AC, and the W-phase AC, and generating a U-phase detection current (Ui), a V-phase detection current (Vi), and a W-phase detection current (Wi); and a gate drive (5) for comparing the U-phase detection current, the V-phase detection current, and the W-phase detection current against a U-phase command current (Qu), a V-phase command current (Qv), and a W-phase command current (Qw) at a frequency of 100 kHz or higher, and controlling the switching elements.
