A power amplifier with a reconfigurable matching network, and a communication device, the power amplifier comprising: an input matching network, a first transformer (T1), a first-stage amplification circuit, a second transformer (T2), a second-stage amplification circuit, a third transformer (T3), and an output matching network. The input matching network comprises a first capacitor (C11), a second capacitor (C12) and a first switch (S1). A first end of the first capacitor (C11) and a first end of the second capacitor (C12) are used for inputting a single-end radio frequency signal and are both connected to an input end of the first transformer (T1). The first switch (S1) selectively grounds a second end of the first capacitor (C11) or a second end of the second capacitor (C12). The other input end of the first transformer (T1) is grounded, and the first transformer (T1) is used for converting the single-end radio frequency signal into two differential signals. Therefore, the first switch (S1) selectively switches on the first capacitor (C11) or the second capacitor (C12), thereby reconfiguring the input matching network so as to switch between different working frequency bands.
