Abstract:
A power amplifier (1) comprises: a distributor (10) that distributes the power of a high frequency signal inputted at an input terminal (2); a first amplification element (41) that amplifies a first high frequency signal inputted from a first branch transmission path; a second amplification element (42) that amplifies a second high frequency signal inputted from a second branch transmission path; and a combiner (50) that combines an output power of the first amplification element (41) with an output power of the second amplification element (42), thereby generating an amplified signal. The distributor (10) comprises an oscillation suppressing circuit (15) having first and second coupled lines (24, 34) series-connected to each other. The first coupled line (24) has first and second transmission lines (22, 23) arranged in parallel to each other and also has an end electromagnetically connected to the first branch transmission path. The second coupled line (34) has third and fourth transmission lines (32, 33) arranged in parallel to each other and also has an end electromagnetically connected to the second branch transmission path.
