This power-amplifying device realizes wide bandwidth operation of a high-frequency power-amplifying circuit. A power-amplifying device (100A) includes: a power-amplifying circuit (1) that amplifies a high-frequency input signal; a first impedance-matching circuit (2) that carries out impedance matching on output signals from the power-amplifying circuit (1); a secondary harmonic termination circuit (3) that is provided on the output side of the first impedance-matching circuit (2), that reflects at least a portion of the even harmonics and odd harmonics that are contained in a signal inputted from the first impedance-matching circuit (2) and thereby outputs the harmonics as a high-frequency signal from the input terminal, and that outputs from the output terminal a high-frequency signal containing the fundamental frequency and remaining even harmonics and odd harmonics; and a filter (4) that is provided as a later stage on the secondary harmonic termination circuit (3), that attenuates at least a portion of the even harmonics and odd harmonics, and that outputs a high-frequency signal containing the fundamental frequency and remaining even harmonics and odd harmonics.
