Abstract:
A power conditioner stores at least one of the power generated by a power generation device and the power supplied from a commercial power system in a storage battery. The power conditioner comprises a DC conversion unit, a bidirectional conversion unit, a power transmission path, a voltage comparison unit, and a conversion control unit. The DC conversion unit convers the power generated by the power generation device into a DC power. The bidirectional conversion unit performs the forward and reverse conversions of power for the commercial power system. The DC conversion unit and the bidirectional conversion unit are connected to the power transmission path, and the power supplied to the storage battery flows through the power transmission path. The voltage comparison unit detects the voltage value of the power flowing through the power transmission path and compares the detected voltage value with a predetermined voltage threshold value. The conversion control unit controls the conversion direction of the bidirectional conversion unit according to the comparison result of the voltage comparison unit.
