Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power connector and a safety cap using the same, and comprises: a safety cap having a light provided on the front outer side; a coupling support unit coupled to the rear inner side of the safety cap; a socket unit provided on the inner side of the coupling support unit and electrically connected to the light; a guide unit coupled such that a socket of the socket unit is exposed, the guide unit guiding insertion of a plug; a plug unit comprising the plug, which is guided through the guide unit and inserted into the socket of the socket unit to supply power, and an escape prevention unit protruding to the outside from the rear end of the plug; and a plug holding unit positioned on the rear inner side of the safety cap and configured to widen when the escape prevention unit of the plug unit is inserted and to narrow after penetration, thereby preventing the plug unit from escaping. The present invention is advantageous in that power can be supplied from an external battery via the power connector and used for lighting, thereby preventing any increase in weight of the safety cap itself, and, by using a large-capacity battery, the lighting duration time can be extended.
