Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of terminal devices, and provided are a power consumption control method and apparatus for an ONU, and an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: performing real-time monitoring on the current state of an optical network unit (ONU), wherein the state at least comprises a deep energy-saving state, and data traffic of the ONU in the deep energy-saving state is lower than a preset threshold; and if the ONU is currently in the deep energy-saving state, performing message processing on received data by means of a CPU channel, and performing a power-off operation on a hardware module in an acceleration channel of the ONU, wherein the acceleration channel is connected to a data entry of the ONU, the hardware module in the acceleration channel is used for performing message processing on the received data of the ONU, the CPU channel is a channel established between the data entry of the ONU, and a CPU, and the message processing is performed on the received data of the ONU by means of the CPU. The running power consumption of the ONU is reduced, thereby saving energy and reducing emissions of a carrier network communication system.
