Abstract:
mbodiments of the present application provide a power control circuit and a control method therefor, applied to the field of energy. The power control circuit comprises an alternating-current power supply module, a power module, and a control module. The power module comprises a bridgeless power factor correction circuit. A sampling module in the alternating-current power supply module samples a current signal outputted by an alternating-current power supply or the power module, and outputs the obtained sampling signal to the control module. The control module controls on and off of a switching element in the alternating-current power supply module on the basis of the received sampling signal, and the control module turns off the switching element when the sampling signal comprises a lightning stroke surge signal, so as to prevent the switching element from being damaged. Moreover, the control module is further used for performing current metering on the sampling signal, thereby simultaneously achieving, in the power control circuit comprising the bridgeless power factor correction circuit, various functions comprising on-off control, lightning stroke protection and current metering.
