Abstract:
Disclosed are a power control method and apparatus. The power control method comprises: a user equipment on an ith level sends a preamble on a resource of a physical random access channel on a kth level according to a determined power control manner, k being greater than i, and the power control manner comprising at least one of the following: a first manner: the transmit power of a preamble of a physical random access channel on the kth level being determined according to a path loss between the user equipment and a base station, a maximum transmit power and a target receive power of the preamble of the physical random access channel on the kth level; a second manner: the transmit power of the preamble of the physical random access channel on the kth level being a maximum transmit power of the user equipment; and a third manner: the transmit power of the preamble of the physical random access channel on the kth level being a maximum transmit power of the user equipment corresponding to the kth level.
