Abstract:
The present invention discloses a power control method, device, and base station. The method comprising: obtaining a number of radio units for cell merging under a service configuration; calculating, on the basis of the number of radio units, a radio combination gain; correcting, on the basis of the radio combination gain, an uplink transmission power determination parameter; and obtaining, on the basis of the corrected power determination parameter, a target uplink transmission power. The number of radio units participating in the cell merging is used to calculate the radio combination gain. The radio combination gain is then used to make a corresponding correction to the uplink transmission power determination parameter. The correction to the uplink transmission power determination parameter takes into account thermal noise when merging a plurality of remote radio combination units. The target uplink transmission power is calculated using the corrected uplink transmission power determination parameter and is therefore closer to a desired uplink transmission power. The invention thereby eliminates subsequent complicated adjustment processes, reducing the time required for a power control process.
