Abstract:
A power control system (10A) comprises: an energy storage system (21A); and a power converter (20) connected between an AC power line (15) and the energy storage system (21A). The energy storage system (21A) includes a plurality of power storage circuits (50_1A to 50_3A) connected to each other in parallel. The power storage circuit (50_1A) includes at least one power storage unit (40u), and a protection circuit (30u) connected between the power storage unit (40u) and the power converter (20). The protection circuit (30u) is configured to cut off, when an abnormality has occurred in the power storage unit (40u), electrical connection between the power storage unit (40u) and the power converter (20).
