Abstract:

Provided is a power conversion apparatus which can supply a constant voltage to a load even if the voltage of an alternating current power supply is fluctuated. The power conversion apparatus is provided with a power conversion circuit which is equipped with: an inverter circuit (4), which is configured by connecting a switching element (Q1) and a switching element (Q2) in series, and which is connected to both the ends of a direct current power supply series circuit (30), which is configured by connecting a direct current power supply (Psp) and a direct current power supply (Psn) in series; an alternating current output terminal (U), which is connected to a connecting point of the switching element (Q1) and the switching element (Q2); an alternating current output terminal (V), which is connected to a connecting point of the direct current power supply (Psp) and the direct current power supply (Psn); and a bidirectional switch element (S1), which has one end thereof connected to the alternating current output terminal (U), and the other end connected to a terminal (R) of an alternating current power supply (1).
