Abstract:
This power conversion device comprises an inverter for converting a DC voltage output from a DC power supply to a three-phase AC voltage, the inverter comprising semiconductor switching elements each of which is switched on or off by means of an on/off signal. The power conversion device is configured to output the on/off signal so that, among a plurality of voltage vectors determined in accordance with a pattern of the on/off signal, a voltage vector with a second-closest phase and a voltage vector with a third-closest phase with respect to a current vector are formed, the current vector being based on a current which is supplied along with the output of the three-phase AC voltage from the inverter.
