Abstract:
A power conversion device (1) for an electric vehicle comprises an inverter (2) that drives a motor (55) mounted in the electric vehicle, and a control device (3) that controls the inverter (2) on the basis of driving commands. The control device (3) comprises a sensorless control unit, and on the basis of temperature information of a temperature sensor (5a) mounted in a cooler (4), corrects an initial resistance value set in the control device (3), sets a resistance value of the motor (55) using the corrected initial resistance value, and operates the sensorless control unit using the set resistance value.
