Abstract:
A power conversion device for supplying power to a plurality of loads by lowering the voltage of a battery (1) is provided with a first and second capacitor (5a, 5b) connected in series between both terminals of the battery (1), a first and second switching element (3a, 3b) connected in series between both of the aforementioned terminals, and a DC/DC converter (2a) having an inductor (4) connected between the connection point of the first and second capacitors (5a, 5b) and the connection point of the first and second switching elements (3a, 3b). The DC/DC converter (2a) is operated such that power is transferred between the first and second capacitors (5a, 5b), and the voltage of the first and second capacitors (5a, 5b) are controlled to be at a prescribed divided voltage (V1, V2).
