Abstract:
A power conversion device (200) for converting the voltage of DC power output from a DC power supply (1) is provided with: a printed circuit board (21); a reactor (2) configured by a conductor pattern (22) on the printed circuit board (21) and having one end connected to the DC power supply (1); a semiconductor element (3) connected to the other end of the reactor (2) and performing switching for storing electric energy in the reactor (2) to boost the voltage of the DC power from a first voltage to a second voltage; a capacitor (5) for smoothing the DC power boosted to the second voltage; a diode (4) connected to the other end of the reactor (2) and supplying the DC power boosted to the second voltage to the capacitor (5); and a cooler (101). The reactor (2), the semiconductor element (3), and the diode (4) are included in the same package to form a module (100), and the module (100) is cooled by the cooler (101).
