Abstract:
The magnetic flux generated when current flows in main circuit wiring is a disturbance to a magnetic sensor. Therefore, in order to obtain accurate rotor position information, this motor driving device, which controls the operation of a power conversion device that outputs current to an AC motor on the basis of a desired torque command value, is equipped with: main circuit wiring that is electrically connected to switching elements constituting a power conversion device, and that transmits DC current or AC current; a magnetic sensor that detects the change of magnetic flux of a sensor magnet attached to the rotor of an AC motor; and a control unit that, on the basis of position information for the rotor as detected by the magnetic sensor, calculates a current command value for the current output from the power conversion device to the motor. The control unit has a magnetic flux error correction unit that detects or calculates a magnetic flux component generated by the current flowing in the main circuit wiring.
