Abstract:
Provided is a power conversion device (2) comprising: a rectifier (32) performing full wave rectification of a multiphase alternating current which is supplied from a power source side; a capacitor (35) smoothing output voltage from the rectifier; a voltage detection unit (42) detecting the smoothed voltage; and an open phase detection unit (44) detecting whether an open phase is occurring in the multiphase alternating current on the basis of a frequency component which is twice the fundamental frequency of the multiphase alternating current and is included in the frequency component of the smoothed voltage.
