Abstract:
A power conversion device comprises: a power converter for outputting three-phase AC power and driving an AC electric motor; a current detection unit for detecting at least two phases of the three-phase output current of the power converter; an edge conversion unit for converting the current detected by the current detection unit into edges; and an edge determination unit for determining an open-phase from the edges converted by the edge conversion unit. The power conversion device is configured such that the edge determination unit compares the converted edges with each other and detects at least one open-phase.
