Abstract:
According to the present invention, in one period of an alternating-current voltage output command, a power conversion device fixes a gate pulse signal such that the terminal voltage value on the direct-current input positive side of an inverter circuit is always outputted during a period (X1) centered on a phase angle (θ1) that corresponds to a higher potential, and fixes a gate pulse signal such that the terminal voltage value on the direct-current input negative side of the inverter circuit is always outputted during a period (X2) centered on a phase angle (θ2) that corresponds to a lower potential. A gate pulse signal is outputted in which the ratio between a period (Y1) and the period (X1) and the ratio between a period (Y2) and the period (X2) are set on the basis of a modulation factor command or an alternating-current voltage output amplitude command value, the period (Y1) being a period in which the periods (X1, X2) are excluded from the period between the phase angle (θ1) and the phase angle (θ2), and the period (Y2) being a period in which the periods (X1, X2) are excluded from the period between the phase angle (θ2) and the phase angle (θ1)+360˚.
