Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power conversion device, which receives power from a power source floating on the ocean and carries out irregular motion by waves within a predetermined range in the vertical and lateral directions so as to generate intermittent linear power, generates electricity by rotating an output shaft connected to a power generator using some of the power from the power source, and stores the remaining power in an energy storage device such that, after storage, the output shaft is rotated by the stored energy when the power is not transmitted from the power source, thereby improving power generating efficiency.
