Abstract:
This invention reduces conducted emissions in various power conversion devices by canceling out leakage currents that circulate via parasitic capacitances and ground points. This power conversion device is provided with a potential-fluctuation suppression unit for suppressing electric-potential fluctuations at point A, where switching elements 50, 51 are connected to each other, and point B, which is inside a bidirectional switch 54. Said potential-fluctuation suppression unit, which comprises first and second grounding capacitors 44, 45 and an inductor 62, suppresses electric-potential fluctuations at point A by using a first compensating current that flows through the inductor 62 and one of the grounding capacitors 44 to cancel out a first leakage current that flows due to electric-potential fluctuations at point A when an AC voltage is positive or negative in polarity. The potential-fluctuation suppression unit also suppresses electric-potential fluctuations at a second connection point by using a second compensating current that flows through the inductor 62, a switch 8, and the other grounding capacitor 45 to cancel out a second leakage current that flows due to electric-potential fluctuations at point B when the aforementioned AC voltage is negative in polarity.
